The Constant Gardener
Synopsis: Ralph Fiennes has more bad luck in Africa.
On my scale of "OOH" to "ICK" this rates an:
Eh.
I made a cup of tea and went to the bathroom twice without pausing it.
I don't have a high need to see it again.
And that's my mini review.

Possible jacket solution.
Cute little white canvas jacket.
This could be the white jacket I've been looking for. It's like a jeans jacket style, but longer, and looks fitted, which I like. It's $19.99, which seems like a decent price. Not ready to pull the trigger on it yet, but this is closer to what I'm looking for. Check it out.
Yes. Women discuss toothbrushes.
Here's my take on toothbrushes. Some people are fanataical about it. I am not. However, on a whim I purchased a Crest Spin Brush . Check out the link to see all the different models they have.
Anyway, I got just a "classic clean" brush which was like $6 or $8 and I LOVE it. After brushing my teeth feel CLEAN. It makes a satisfying, but not scary "dentisty" sound. The heads replace when the bristles get ooky, and it runs on a couple of AA batteries. How simple is that?
Bob is NOT a toothbrusing guy, he's like a once a day-er (I am at least twice a day... I have to get the sweaters off my teeth in the morning), but when I brought the Spin Brush home he asked me why I didn't get him one. Here's a guy who will use a toothbrush until it's ratty and disgusting, and will only go to the dentist via the emergency room. So I got him one and HE uses it! He brushes longer with it, too. I would think kids would love this because it's like a toy. Maybe that's why Bob liked it. (That and we found one for him in a "manly" color...)
So there you are. I thought they were gimmicky, but they really work. Try it.

Torn between two colors.
The best bargain going right now is this cute trench coat on La Redoute for $9.99. I purchased it in camel and love it. LOVE IT. I loved it so much I went back and got the grey, which is perfect with black slacks or jeans.
Recipe for Italian scrambled eggs.
I submitted my Italian scrambled egg recipe to All Recipes, and haven't heard if they are going to publish it or not. When I made it last night for me and Bob he wanted sausage scrambled in with the eggs, so I added that. I put some oregano, some fennel and some crushed red pepper in with the sausage while it fried, and it was pretty good. I'll make it that way again.
Scrambled Eggs Alfredo
Creamy, delicious scrambled eggs with an Italian flair.
This is for 2 servings.
INGREDIENTS:
6 large eggs
1/2 cup prepared alfredo sauce
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 roasted red pepper, chopped
salt & pepper to taste
1T olive oil
1T butter
1/2 cup additional alfredo sauce
parmesan cheese (opt)
DIRECTIONS:
In bowl, combine eggs, 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce, oregano, red pepper, salt and pepper and whisk until smooth. In pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add eggs and scramble, keeping heat medium to medium-low for the best consistency. In small pan, heat additional alfredo sauce. Transfer eggs to plates and top with additional alfredo sauce. Sprinkle with parmasean if desired.
Note: As I said, I added about 1/2 lb. of crumbled, fried, whole hog sausage to this recipe and Bob loved it. I added about 1/2 teaspoon each of dried oregano, fennel seed (crunched it up in my hand) and red pepper flakes. But I suppose if you used bulk Italian sausage you wouldn't need these spices because they'd already be in there.
Let me know if you try this and how it worked for you.
